The 2012 NEEC comes to Leeds in a new era for education and children’s services.
2012 presents new opportunities, continued challenges and the excitement of the London Olympics.
Amid this changing context, the Leeds NEEC poses challenging questions about the purpose of education and learning. Inspired by leading national and international thinkers, the conference will explore how greater passion can be inspired in the system so that more young people, and the people who work with them, make inspired choices; continue learning; and aspire to world class performance.
At a time when the system is under even more severe pressures, the conference will explore the opportunities for everyone involved to take hold of the agenda and achieve more for, and with, our communities.The debate will be inspired by powerful and diverse perspectives on the potential of all of us to think differently about what we can achieve and how we learn.
